Overview
Run Business Solutions, Inc. is a business and technology consulting firm that has been operating in the Texas panhandle for the past six years. In that time, the leadership team has attracted exceptional employees, first-rate customers and notable financial partners by establishing a simple mission.
This mission and a culture that empowers our employees to fulfill the mission have been the keys to our success. The old axiom “A business is only as good as its employees” is especially true in the service industry.
Our solutions center around the accounting, human resource, payroll and information technology needs of many of the larger businesses and organizations in our area. We begin with software offerings from Microsoft Business Solutions, and we add Microsoft network infrastructure and Dell hardware. We combine these with our expertise of degreed professionals in Accounting, Human Resources, and Information Technology to deliver solutions unparalleled in our market.
Our market is very broad both geographically and industrially. Most of our customers reside within a 250 mile radius of Amarillo. Approximately one-half are in Amarillo, one-fourth in Lubbock and the remainder in the surrounding area. Most of our customers are not-for-profit, governmental, healthcare related, distribution and management companies.
Our small and mid-market business solutions are fueled by Microsoft’s investment. In 2003, Microsoft purchased Great Plains Software, which was a leading mid-market accounting software provider in North America. Then in 2004, Microsoft acquired Navision which led the mid-markets in Europe and Asia. With billions invested in product development and marketing, Microsoft Business Solutions is emerging as the clear leader in small and mid-market business software. With the ability to maximize integration between Windows, Windows Server and Office, Microsoft is uniquely positioned to unify and dominate the market. Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer is quoted as saying, “Business Solutions is to Microsoft’s future what Office was to Windows.” Since their inception, Microsoft has been deeply committed to their partner channel. They do not sell directly to their customers. This creates great business opportunities for companies like ours.
